Parish Religious Education (P.R.E.) Program
This is the Catholic formation program for children who attend public schools in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Adults can help by volunteering as catechists (teachers), classroom assistants, and office helpers. High school students can also assist.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
Adults interested in joining the Catholic Church meet weekly to learn about the faith. Volunteers can serve as a sponsor to accompany an individual on his/her journey of faith, as a member of the hospitality team, or as a child-care provider so the parent/s can attend the sessions.
Catholics Returning Home
This ministry is designed to reach out and invite non-practicing Catholics to resume active participation. The six weekly sessions provide updated information on the basics of Catholicism in a non-threatening support-group format.
Faith & Reasons
This is a relatively new discussion group which helps participants gain a deeper understanding of some of the more controversial or misunderstood aspects of the Catholic faith tradition. The group meets monthly in Meeting Room #1 of the parish hall. Fr. Peter O'Donnell is the moderator.
Adult teachers, assistants, and activity-center leaders “transform” the grade school building into a theme-focused faith experience for children through 4th grade for one week during the summer. Volunteers are needed as teachers, as well as for crafts, music, recreation, snacks, child care, etc.
