Health Label

The Health & Wellness Ministry program provides a way for the church to expand its potential as a healing community.  It is based on the concept of caring for the whole person-body, mind, and spirit.  Direct hands-on nursing care is not provided.  All parishioners can be involved in parish health ministry by volunteering as a member of one of the health ministry teams or by participating in any of the activities.

Doris Worcester, Parish Nurse, 827-5575

Health Ministry Cabinet

This Cabinet is made up of volunteers who are concerned about health issues and who are committed to seeing that the healing ministry of Jesus is fulfilled.  The Cabinet provides support and direction to the Parish Nurse by providing leadership in establishing appropriate programs and activities.

Angel Food Cooks

These volunteers gather at the Parish Hall 2-3 times a year to prepare and freeze meals that will be taken to parishioners recently coming home from the hospital. Meals are planned and prepared under the guidance of a nutritionist. Cooking events are a fun opportunity for fellowship while serving others.

Linda Baumberger, 827-9922

Angel Food Visitors

The visitors represent the parish by delivering a meal to the family of somone who has been in the hospital. They also have the opportunity to help the parish identify other ways that we, as church, might serve our brothers and sisters.
