
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council carries out its purpose through five interdependent areas of endeavor: spiritual formation, parish planning, policy development, communications, and collaboration with the Parish Finance Council. It is the primary consultative body of the parish. Three new members are appointed by the pastor every year. Each member is either an officer (Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary) or a liaison to one of the parish commissions or councils.

Finance Council
This group advises the Pastor in the planning and supervision of the financial affairs of the parish. Activities include: budget development and review; discussing capital improvements and funding strategies; and monitoring that all parish programs and ministries are adequately funded, given the financial status of the parish. Members are appointed by the Pastor.

Buildings & Grounds Commission
This Commission is responsible for maintaining and improving the parish buildings and grounds. Membership is open to anyone.

Stewardship Commission
The purpose of this Commission is to help members of our parish family understand and lead a “stewardship way of life” through time in prayer, sharing of talents, and financial generosity. Upon recommendation of the parish staff and Stewardship Commission, members are selected by the Pastor.

Liturgy Commission
The goals of the Liturgy Commission include: planning special parish liturgies, educating the parish about the meaning of the liturgy, and to promote the spiritual life of the community. This Commission is also responsible for training and renewal of those involved in a liturgical ministry. Members of this Commission are selected representatives of all areas of liturgy.

Social Concerns Commission
This group promotes and coordinates programs that will guarantee justice and charity in full measure for all members of the parish and for all members of society. It also respond to social problems of today, giving special care to the poor, the lonely, the aged, the oppressed, and minority groups. Membership is open to anyone with a particular interest in any of these areas.

Family Life Ministry Commission
Family Life Ministry recognizes that the family-in all its faces, from singles to extended family-is the basic unit of society and the Church. Its mission is to reach out, educate, strengthen, support, and affirm families. Activities of the group align with this mission. Membership is open to any adult with a particular interest in these areas.

Vocations Commission
Members are needed for this new Commission, the purpose of which is to encourage interest in vocations to the priesthood and religious life as well as provide support for those living the vocations of marriage and single life. Any adults in the parish are welcome to participate.
